Launching ceremony of Party Committee of Shining Sun Social Company Limited

On September 29th, 2020, In Buon Ma Thuot City, Dak Lak Provi nces ShiningSun has participated in organizing the conference "Achievements in macadamia trees development in Vietnam-Directions and solutions in the coming time. At the conference, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc highly valued the macadamia trees no only in economic efficiency, but more importantly in social term, especially from the regards of specific conditions in Vietnam. He has appreciated efforts of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Vietnam Macadamia Association, scientists, businesses, and farmers in bringing initial achievements to development of macadamia trees in Viet Nam, making an important contribution to the implementation of the Party and State's strategy on sustainable poverty reduction and socio-economic development.

 On the morning of October 13th, 2019, at Tan Son Nhat Golf Course, the final round of the Start up contest "Get in the Ring Ho Chi Minh City" was organized by ShiningSun.  The eight excellent finalists were divided into four pairs competing in four different "weight classes". The winners of each pair would be selected to represent Vietnam in the global "Get in the Ring" contest, which was expected to be held in the summer of 2020 in Canada.

On May 22, 2019, at the Long Bien Golf Club Building (Hanoi), the District Party Committee, the Party Committee of the Enterprise Division of Long Bien District, and Shining Sun Social Company Limited held the launching ceremony of the Party Committee of Shining Sun Social Company Limited. To be present at the ceremony, there was Ms. Vu Thi Than - Standing Member, Head of the Organizing Committee of the District Party Committee, Ms. Dinh Thi Bich Nguyet - Member of the District Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Enterprise Division of Long Bien District, a representative of the Propaganda Department, the Labor Union. Long Bien District Party Committee, representative of the Party Committee of Phuc Dong Ward, Long Bien District. On behalf of Shining Sun Social Company, there was Ph.D. Pham Thi Thu Hang - Chairman of the Board of Members, Mr. Duong Quoc Trong, a member of the Company's Advisory Board, and a large number of officers and employees of the Company.

Ms. Dinh Thi Bich Nguyet - District Member, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Business Division of Long Bien District handed over the Decision to establish the Party Committee of Shining Sun Social Company Limited.

The Party Committee of Shining Sun Social Company Limited was established under Decision No. 30 – QD/DU of the Party Committee of the Business Division of Long Bien District, consisting of 5 official Party members; Comrade Duong Van Canh was appointed Party Secretary.

On March 3rd, 2019, In Dak Lak Provinces ShiningSun in cooperation with Vietnam Macadamia Association has organized the "Annual Meeting of Vietnam Macadamia Association in 2019" The Conference has summed – up the achievements of Vietnam Macadamia Association:  Up to now, the Vietnam Macadamia Association has had 986 official members. For nearly 3 years, the Vietnam Macadamia Association has organized many delegations to survey in the Central Highlands, Northwest, Northeast and mountainous areas of central provinces to identify areas that may be suitable for the development of macadamia trees. The Association has continuously worked with the Government, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and provincial leaders to provide information, take counsel and provide policies to support the development of macadamia trees. The Association has also organized many seminars with the participation of leaders of state agencies, experts, media agencies, and farmers; has sent many delegations to visit and study macadamia-growing regions in Vietnam and abroad; organized many seminars at gardens in the Central Highlands, Northwest, and other provinces to train farmers in methods of planting, caring, harvesting and preserving macadamia nuts; cooperated with Lien Viet Post Bank to build a loan program for macadamia plantation, care, and processing to provide finance for farmers and businesses to breed, grow and process macadamia. According to the association's statistics, by the end of 2018, there are more than 4 million macadamia trees planted and this rate would increase rapidly in the coming years. After 2021, Vietnam is projected to plant more than 3 million macadamia trees each year. In addition to expanding the area of cultivation of macadamias, Association will have to focus on researching processing technology, creating product value chains, reducing raw exports.
